Had a late start this morning...boated 3 in the 3rd hour and a sheepie to boot of
....nailed fish 40'down on 110FOW...fish tended to be bottom hugging later in the day with the sky wide opened
Met Grant of G2 Angling Dot Com at the boat launch as we packed it in...exchanged stories & experience with Grant (ok ok I learnt alot from him
)...what a great guy

Grant showed me his tackle boxes (not on my request, not my style anyways
)...that's class act, not too many fellow fisherman would do that to a stranger especially when one fish for a living....there was one filled up with about 100pcs of Reef Runner Deep Diver, their go to lure this time of year.....10lb test fire line, 120' out from the board, 1oz snap weight 20' back from the lure... that's how they rig it for a 30' down presentation.
Im not a lure chaser...I've been using the deepest runners the Trolling Bible has to provide datas with...Hot Lip, Bomber Long A, Mann's +30 have been doing the job for me over the years

船是漁友的, 他熱愛速度, 一般都會max out 船的馬力
那魚是用 deep diving crankbait 配合 in-line planer board (相中黃點)大約在水面下40尺拖釣捕獲的...船速在2kph下....也有使用dipsey diver 對付較深水的目標魚..
"不打洞在船舷安装rod holder"..."The Salty" 有 clamp-on 的, 正合你的 tinny 使用.....

down rigger 本身及運作上均屬力量型, 始終是要牢固在船上的..大可用2x6ホ方或鋁型材在 bench 上橫向先造個龍門架, 然后在上面裝上 down rigger...花點心思還可做個快速down rigger 拆卸組合..
