We typically meet on the street outside the site at 0930 and then enter en masse. Only volunteers on the official list will be allowed entry; no exceptions! So, if you would like to help with the collections, please send me email indicating what day(s) you are available. See above and contact Raymond. Please note the collections continue daily, including weekends. If you have neoprene or rubber waders, please bring them. Note that breathable waders are not suitable.

The Ontario Chinese Anglers Association (OCAA) is helping the Ringwood Fish Culture Station with salmon egg collection on the Credit River at the Streetsville Dam on October 3rd and 4th, 2009. Volunteers are needed to participate in this activity. You do not have to be an OCAA club member to be a volunteer. Please note that volunteers will be working i.e. this is not a sightseeing tour. Volunteers will wear neoprene chest waders and use nets to catch electroshocked salmon. If you are interested in participating, please read the a copy of the e-mail sent to OCAA. It's that time of the year again and I know many of you are looking forward to handling some big fish. Chinook are showing up in the rivers and we are all keen on getting operations underway. I know we can depend on your support and help to gather this year's batch of eggs.
We will likely commence collections on Wednesday, September 30. The location is the Credit River at the Streetsville dam on the Kraft property. Since we will be on the Kraft grounds, there are a few rules we must abide by:

- You must be on the list of authorized volunteers
- No nuts or nut products are allowed on the site
- Photo ID is required
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old
