Never fished your home waters for these species...
I hear the daily limit for WF is 25 over there, and they are of different strain to those in Lake Simcoe...I'd expect their size is much smaller than that shown in your pictures though..
I did get those fish from Lake Simcoe. Yes, the wf in our home water are much smaller and more difficult to catch as the water is too shallow. I think I can still fish Lake Simcoe for wf for a couple of more times before it gets too warm?
I'd think the great fishing will still hold until bass opener...what a weird summer weather pattern we're now having.....some of my fishing buddies still had their flotation suits on on yesterday....
Congrad to your virgin Whitefish trip. The jigging for them is quite unique. The colour of the Whitefish is more fair colour comparing to the ones in L. Simcoe.

以前他只会用蚯蚓钓鲤鱼. 这也是第一次用假饵钓白鱼和LAKE TROUT. 从80多FEET的水底把鱼钓上来, 对他对我都是第一次. 可把他高兴坏了.
