Recently we were checked by MNR after coming out the launch for fish,  license and all the safety stuffs on boat.

The floatation suit has to be worn on the boat to qualify as a life jacket. Same apply to auto inflatable vest.

The life jacket has to be the size for the individual wearing.

He asked us to turn on the waterproof flashlight to make sure it's in working condition. Luckily we took additional betteries.

With regard to boat registration paper, the older model paper has 2 sides. The original has to be carry on board. But the newer model paper is printed out from the printer. It's only 1 side. That's why a copy can be carried on board.
