Hi Everyone,
Since this board does not have an ICE WATCH, let's start one. Many of us do not live near or have access to our favourite hard water lake(s) ,if anybody has been out and don't mind sharing the condition and thickness of the ice, can you please make a report. Especially with the weather being unstable. Thank you!

LAKE COUCHICHING-Ice Watch 2008

Lake Couchiching from the shore out to 200 yards has a good 4 inch of ice and a couple of cm. of snow on top. If you go out to 10 FOW, there is only 3 inches of ice and a couple of cm. of snow. That is the farthest I've walked out.
