Luigi de Rose, writer for Ontario Out of Doors, was a guest speaker on bass fishing at the OCAA club meeting on Thursday, August 14th.

 Use 3/8 to 1/2 oz bullet weight with a bead stopper and offset hook rigged with a crayfish soft bait to fish slop or heavy and/or thick weeds. Use 3/4 oz bullet weight if needed.

Fishing Jerk Baits

* Use 3 feet of flurocarbon leader tied to braid main line

* Flurocarbon leader acts as a shock absorber and is a must use in gin clear water like Lake Simcoe
