Little Lake fishing today on my friend's 12" aluminum boat. Weather is very co-operative but the fish were not. Started at 7:00am and by 11:30am all we caught were 7 little Pikes and a small LM Bass. The winds were calm and sun is high, we didn't think we were going to catch much more today. We went to our early spring Crappy spot and found minnows swimming around , we through out our Senko and "SMACK" we found where they're hiding. 10 LM Bass later we packed in and headed home.
On way home on HWY #400, we've got asked to pull into the service centre for safety and fishing license check by OPP and MNR. There were a lot of boats that got asked to pull in. So remember to carried your license and follow the fishing regulations.
Vow!We had fun with family.

Hey great going there Jown
bass, did you guys launch out of Island Grove?
Never used that ramp before in open water, but did use it a fair bit when ice fishing the islands...we just parked & paid inside that admin. office on the other side of the road...sorry to hear you had bad experience there
Yesterday was our first time
Yesterday was our first time using that marine. Nothing wrong with Admin. Just a busy place during summer. Somebody parking his car very near the ramp. Give him adivse should move his car. Got comments: "Shutup! Did you own a cottage here!"
Didn't understand his points at all. Crazy limited vision person.

maybe not LOCAL people, just some redneck come from south.
own a cottage???
What's owning a cottage got to do with him parking his vehicle close to the ramp???
Don't let these isolated incidents ruin your day. Glad your family had a good time.
