Of course I felt exited about what we had achieved especially the total weight, actually we still left a few 3lb+ in our livewell without being weighted in. It is really an amusing experience!
When people talk about something too often then you might feel boring. But like it or not, it is still true. Or sometimes the "big secret" is only a very simple, straight forward fact, and is easily ignored.
Firstly, we were lucky. We didn't move a lot and we actually couldn't do that because our boat is small, and the weather was not cooperated. It simply means we didn't have many options.
Secondly I got a good partner too. You knows Bewdley much better than I do and he did land more weight in fish than I did.
Sometimes the most simple technique could be the most effective one, you just stick on it and make the most of it. Trying too many fancy stuff could eventually prove just be wasting of your limited time. We only used senko, with Texas or wacky according the weed or how comfortable he use ( we had a newbie on board but he also did pretty well with the right rig), tried different colors and sizes. In 3-6' water with good weed. The 7" senko worked well since the fish were active.
Lao Da, sure you will be disappoited with these nonsense. But you know I am a low hand and just fish for fun. Of course if I can get more instructions from Lao Da and practice more, my hand will get "higher" for sure.

Doing a tourney is worth getting serious of, me think ...
Talking about fishing funs...on opener day while we were working a wide spread of heavy covers, I pulled out the long abondoned fun lure, a 3/8 black buzzbait, and landed all my big fish of the day out of that lure....always enjoy seeing the fish boil to grab what you offer
I fished it so hard that I actually burnt the still new lure...first the eyelet, then the propeller....no worries this fun fisherman has spare parts for replacement
Da Lao, how you find out about this? Were you on this same tourny? I would like to know more about this CASCC, how to join and when's the next one? Like to met and learn a few trricks from all HIGH HANDS.
