Yeah, I completely agree! Looks like even CT is high end! Sorry that I could not make one myself, since I do not have the material and time. But, I do buy a couple of $1 rods from a dollar store. Guess what, in many cases, it can cathch many good size fishes and tons of fun. BTW, this $1 rod made with two pieces of banboos and made in China. So who need those over priced rods and who care about those discounts, they are for those pretended pre-pros. Oh, yeah, another one in this category is the boat thing, which can risk your life.
Haha! I guess I was the one who said that fish would not check what type of fishing rod before it bites and I still think it is true. Most of my fishing rods are from second-hand sources and they have been doing fine. If you can take fishing just "for fun", everything is just fine.
Yet, for a couple of times, I did miss a few big dream-catches. For one instance, I was trout-fishing in Bowmanvill late in November with Patrick and I hooked a huge brown trout. After half an hour fighting with that beautiful jumping brownty, the hook broke. I saw the fish swimming away, and I felt completely defeated and helpless.
It dose not matter whether I could take it home, but it does matter whether I could win over the fight and bring it ashore. That was a miss of life time!
Regret or "well, there is always a next time", it is totally up to you.

还是讨论鱼干问题比较爽。。。
这个问题 n 年前就有定论。这里再重复一下。
鱼不会先跳出水面，看一下你手中的鱼干，大叫一下, “是碧水的！我咬！“
这个完全是我们渔夫们的感觉。感觉 shimano 的日本味太浓，改用St .Croxi。顿时感觉拉crappie 顺手一些。。。
当然象GTR bro 所说，一些武林高手一样，一草一木皆为兵的话，何必bother Canadian Tire，那里反正烂货一大堆，自己找根竹竿，捆扎一下，说不定钓出了名后，这个干更有价值。。。
