For Halloween tonite, let me re tell my Alberta hunt again...
For those who seldom get deep into the woods, there are also something worth to mention about this trip. The temperature was...from zero to -10. We had sunny day, rainy days and snowy days.

frozen gun cases
and Thanks God this little tent from my host worked quite weell with the elements.
We also built our cooking and dinning room.

the camp toilet photo was deleted accidentally. Anyway, most of the time, we all prefered to sit around the campfire and have our BBQ.

Oh, we didn't have good moose steak everyday. and when we running down on meat. We let the kid shot the squirrels.

What he shot.

He needed to clean...

and cooked, so we could eat. But he could keep his trophy.

Talking about food, folks you have to be very careful about keeping your food out of reach of the animals.

clean up the blood or gut as much as possible and throw them away (far away from your camp site) to avoid bears and wolves/coyotes.
Here was the damage Mr.bear made one night.

and there were wolf/bear/deer/moose/elk tracks everywhere too.

But walking in the woods is so much fun(making sure you always carry a gun), you won't know what will you find in the woods...

not a rifle, I found a prefect moose skull and gave it to the kid for his collection.
BTW, hunt camp ruled by hunt camp rules.
If we had any disputes needed to be settled, we pulled out our rifles!
For example, who's going to wash the dishes?

we had a shooting competition to decision who'd be the loser!
It was my fist Alberta hunt and it was wonderful!
