Fished hard for Wallys and all of a sudden, a good hook set. It never jumped out of the water like a normal Musky. Partner said it must be a good size Wally. Fought for a while and it still pulled out lines. Finally saw a mean looking face. Decide not to tire it out so that it could have a safe release, netted it once it got close enough to the boat. But only the head fitted in. The body and tail was hanging outside. The spinnerbait got hooked onto the net material. Grabbed it up by the tail.

Laid it down on the deck and it’s still full of energy. My partner sat on a seat on the back deck and it jumped right to the head. Quickly removed the hook and took a picture. Off it went and swam back into the water in no time.
