Over the last couple weeks, busy in searching a cottage in BOQ areas. No much time left for fishing. Weekend before the long weekend, tried shore fishing in Meyer's pier, a nice spot for early and late season to get big walleyes. Not expecting to catch big ones. However, hook into a walleye weighing 4.9 pounds in evening. Not bad in the middle of summer.
Tip: use in-line spinner in BOQ with steady and slow retrival. Never jerk. Unlike bass, walleye do not like stop-and-go retrival.
Long weekend, boat fishing in a lake north of Kingston. The lake has a large number of huge pan fish and some decent pikes. Those pan fish hit the lures with such force that you feel it could be a pike. Large mouth show up after 6:00pm on shallows. Using senko on wacky style, got 5 largies on five consecutive casting. Those largies are not big(2 pound range), but have beautiful coloration due to very clear water.
Tip: if the vegitation is not so dense, wacky rig is way better than Texas rig when using senko.
Re: Brief fishing report
Thanks for your story.
share my store here. Haven't been fishing for almost 4-5 weeks. Busy working. Ahead for rice lake without any plans. Tiger shows some good spots. Somebody hits a 3.6 pounder in first 5 minutes. Then no luck anymore.
finally Tiger hits one. Look carefully, found the bass has only one eye. 所有人都說“那魚是瞎了!“

Re: Brief fishing report
Great report as usual bassin.....thanks for sharing!
Nice to be able to run into the panfish bonanza, be prepared to clean up your mail box though...lotsa pm's for location on their way ;-)
Well, "stop N go" still makes a jerkbait looks eatable to the fish but an in-line spinner will look more like a key chain LOL
Re: Brief fishing report
我们在BOQ钓bass,上鱼时都得偷偷的,太多鄙视的目光了
幸好我一般都蒙着脸:)
